பிரம்மத்தண்டு Argemone mexicana

 பிர‌ம‌த்த‌ண்டுப் பூக்க‌ள் எடுத்து ந‌ன்றாக‌க் கொதிக்க‌ வைத்து அதை தலைக்கு தேய்த்து குளித்து வந்தால் கண் நோய்கள் குறையும்.

இலையை அரைத்துப் பூசி வர சொறி, சிரங்கு நீர் வடியும். கரப்பான் படை குணமடையும். உள்ளங்கால்,கை, பாதங்களில் வரும் புண்கள் ஆறும்.

பொன்னாங்கண்ணி, சோற்றுக் கற்றாழை, கரிசாலை போல கண் நோய்க்கு நல்ல குணமளிக்கும். பூவை நீரில் ஊறவைத்து அந்த நீரை தலைக்குத் தேய்த்துக் குளிக்க 40 நாளில் கண் பார்வை மங்கல், எரிச்சல், நீர் வடிதல் குணமாகும். 

Argemeone mexicana is taken internally for treating jaundice, malaria, cough, burning sensation in the urinary tract and asthma. Externally it is used for treating lot of skin diseases like ringworm, scabies, redness of the eyes, itching, eczema and burning sensation.

This wonderful plant has anti bacterial, anti inflammatory, anti diabetic, anti cancer, analgesic, hallucinating and sedative properties.
